Local Favorite Does Dinner

Well known for its award winning coffee and desserts (both have been awarded "Best in Arkansas" by Arkansas Times Magazine Readers' Choice Awards) as well as being a local favorite for breakfast and lunch, Mud Street Cafe is offering dinner Friday and Saturday evenings during the summer.

In addittion to the cafe's regular menu of great tasting, satisfying sandwiches that carry over from their lunch menu they feature two dinner specials each weekend.

Mud Street Cafe is proud to have Chef Lance Thomas back in the kitchen producing his mouthwatering dishes inspired by classic recipes yet innovating with his own twists.

Some of the recent starters available have been the classic shrimp cocktail and crab stuffed mushrooms. Soup du jour is available every evening and most dinners are accompanied by a dinner salad.

Entrees have featured chicken, tuna and pork prepared in a variety of delicious dinners. Chicken Marsala, Pork Loin with Fiji Apples, Walnuts and Gorgonzola cheese, Tuna with Pineapple - Chipotle Salsa.

Other fantastic dinner choices have been Pork Loin with a Spicy Red Pepper Cream Sauce, Tuna with a Lemon, Caper, Dill Sauce and Chicken with Bourbon Mushroom Sauce.

All dinners are paired with Chef's Choice of Fresh Vegetable and a starch of either pasta or rice pilaf. Dinner specials vary every couple of weeks.
