Balcony Restaurant

Imagine yourself overlooking the activity on the streets of Eureka Springs below, the air is filled with the sounds of live music and there is an empty plate in front of you from the meal you just finished. That's the the dining experience that awaits you at the Balcony Restaurant located in the 1905 Basin Park Hotel.

We started our lunch visit off with a heaping mound of onion rings in all their crispy, battered decadence dipped in creamy ranch.

The "Southern" Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich comes on a hoagie roll and is piled high with Angus beef, sauteed onions and peppers and melted Colby Jack cheese.

To continue with the golden fried goodness the Fried Grouper Po' Boy did not disappoint. Golden fried grouper filets served on a hoagie roll topped with lettuce and tomato. Served with tartar sauce and chips.

For dinners we opted for the "Downtown Crown", three braised pork legs glazed with their zesty sweet chipotle cili sauce, served with a baked potato and steamed veggies.

Weighing in at eight ounces the Balcony Sirloin is the perfect size for the steak lover. Cooked perfectly to our request and also served with a baked potato and fresh steamed vegetables.

On Fridays during the summer you don't want to miss the War Eagle Fish Fry. Catfish filets breaded with War Eagle Mill Corn Meal fried to golden perfection and served with fries and cole slaw.

For those that prefer that other Southern favorite; barbecue, the Balcony's BBQ Baby Back Ribs are a delicious "messy" treat. Served with baked beans, slaw and plenty of napkins.
